Mike hails from Mason City, Iowa and credits his success to his family and his Midwestern small town upbringing. Mike knows times have changed since his grandfather sealed a deal with a handshake, but Mike still believes in standing by his word. Mike grew up in the real estate business, with his father (1996's Iowa Realtor of the Year) serving as his mentor.

Mike arrived in Denver in 1998 knowing very few people, but took advantage of his outgoing personality to expand his circle of friends and business contacts. An advocate of community involvement, Mike is President of the Rocky Mountain Iowa Alumni Club, and is involved in Boys Hope Girls Hope, a nationwide organization that helps children with troubled backgrounds by providing housing and educational assistance. In addition, Mike assists kindergarten classes as a Junior Achievement Mentor.

As an Eagle Scout, Mike understands the value of setting goals and the commitment required for long term success. Mike continues his professional commitment to providing superior service by furthering his education and training on a constant basis. As an Accredited Buyers Representative and a Certified Residential Specialist, Mike is well versed in providing the highest standard of service for both buyers and sellers.

Mike enjoys the great outdoors, and with his black lab Triton, can frequently be found taking advantage of Colorado's great hunting and fishing opportunities. As well as, biking, horseback riding, golfing and spending time with his family and friends.
