Highland Bridge Lofts overlook Denver’s skyline and will soon be complete and ready for occupancy which is estimated to be Fall/Winter 2007. The lofts are steps from the mouth of the 16th Street Pedestrian Bridge, Highland Bridge, that connects LoHi with Riverfront Park. The bridge gives direct access to the Creek Creek and Platte River recreation trails and makes an easy direct shot into LoDo.
Highlands Bridge Lofts are located at 16th and Central (on the west side of I-25) and when finished will have retail space on the first floor and 29 one and two-bedroom units above. The remaining units still give the purchaser the opportunity to pick there interior finishes–giving the unit their own personal flare. Rhadius P.C., the architect, has combined new urban design, form and function in this project which will soon be a positive addition to LoHi. The remaining units are currently for sale starting in the low $300’s and will feature ample private outdoor balconies and reserved, secure parking.
The project is developed by Urban Ventures, LLC a company that has a long track record of great loft and mixed-use developments throughout Denver’s city center neighborhoods. A key player in shaping the future of Denver with endeavors such as The Denver Pavilions and Fire Clay Lofts. Campus Village Apartments of Auraria is an Urban Ventures project that has brought long needed student housing to the Auraria Campus.
The pedestrian walkway is a nice feature of the construction project, though temporary, it allows peds to pose with their head featuring a body of–well , whatever creature is painted on the wall in front of them. The art of the walkway was done by Brutal Image and is a creative, refreshing change from the plywood walls we’ve been seeing so much of in Denver these days.

I really like the walk way done by Brutal Image. It is a fun way to be able to deal with new construction.

Along the Highland Bridge Lofts are several other nice projects in the works right now as well. That LoHi area is definitely hot! The bridge was a nice addition to that edge of downtown and Riverfront Park.
